Nice Cream

This nice cream recipe will satisfy your sweet tooth! it’s rich creamy and silky smooth! It’s like your favorite ice cream but only made with frozen bananas and a little coconut milk / cream for that touch of extra creaminess.  This nice cream is extremely easy to make and you probably have most of the ingredients on hand. I do find it works best when you allow the frozen bananas to thaw out a bit for about 5-8 mins on the counter and I think the food processor is the best way to blend the frozen bananas.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Medium Frozen Banana’s or 1 12oz Bag of Sliced Frozen Banana’s
  • 3 Pitted Medjool Dates
  • 2 Tbsp Chilled Coconut Cream (The solid part)
  • 2 Tbsp Chilled Coconut Milk (The liquid part)
  • 2 Tbsp Cacao Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon
  • Favorite Toppings (Nuts, Chocolate Chips)

DIRECTIONS

Combine coconut cream, coconut milk and dates in a food processor and pulse until dates are the size of peas. Scrape down the sides, add frozen bananas (Allow the bananas to sit for 5 minutes at room temperature before adding) and process until bananas are smooth. You may have to stop the food processor and mix occasionally! Add your cinnamon and cacao powder and pulse until combined. Serve in a chilled bowl with your favorite toppings and enjoy!!!!
